Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Renewables Sales Manager for our client based in Central Scotland.

\nThis is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and commercially driven Renewables Sales Manager to join a growing business within the renewable energy sector.
\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by generating new opportunities, developing lasting client relationships, and managing the complete sales journey from initial enquiry through to project handover. This role is ideal for a proactive sales professional who thrives on business development and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and business development activities. \n
- Manage and develop enquiries generated through marketing campaigns. \n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, commercial clients, developers, and contractors. \n
- Conduct customer site surveys to assess project requirements. \n
- Design tailored renewable energy solutions to meet individual customer needs. \n
- Prepare accurate quotations and professional proposals. \n
- Follow up quotations and convert opportunities into confirmed sales. \n
- Achieve agreed sales and profitability targets. \n
- Identify new markets and opportunities to support business growth. \n
- Represent the business at customer meetings and networking events. \n
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure a seamless transition from sale through to installation. \n
- Promote a range of renewable and heating solutions, including Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Battery Storage, Air Conditioning, Boiler Installations, Commercial Heating Systems, and Service & Maintenance Plans. \n
Skills & Experience
\n- \n
- Proven experience within sales, business development, or estimating, ideally within the renewables, heating, or construction sectors. \n
- Demonstrable track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets. \n
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. \n
- Experience carrying out customer surveys and preparing technical quotations. \n
- Solar PV design and quotation experience would be highly desirable. \n
- Knowledge of Air Source Heat Pumps, battery storage, and renewable heating systems is advantageous. \n
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads independently while working collaboratively within a team. \n
- Full UK Driving Licence. \n
