A well-regarded London law firm is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join its expanding Private Client team in Whitechapel.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a Private Client Paralegal with previous experience in wills, probate or estate administration to develop their career within a supportive and growing team. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced solicitors, gaining exposure to a broad range of private client matters.
The Private Client Paralegal's Role\nThe successful Private Client Paralegal will support fee earners across a varied private client caseload, including wills, probate, trusts and estate administration matters.
\nResponsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the preparation of wills, LPAs, trust documents and related legal paperwork \n
- Supporting probate and estate administration matters from instruction through to completion \n
- Preparing probate applications and inheritance tax forms \n
- Collating asset and liability information and liaising with banks, HMRC and third parties \n
- Assisting with Office of the Public Guardian applications and LPA registrations \n
- Preparing legal correspondence and attendance notes \n
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, executors and professional contacts \n
- Supporting client onboarding, ID checks and AML compliance \n
- Managing case files, deadlines and document records \n
- Maintaining accurate records on the firm's case management system \n

- Minimum 1 year's experience within a Private Client team \n
- Previous experience in wills, probate, trusts or estate administration \n
- Strong understanding of private client processes \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills \n
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills \n
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively \n
- Professional and empathetic approach when dealing with clients \n
- Experience using legal case management systems would be advantageous \n

- £26,000 - £30,000 salary \n
