Join our clients team as a Recruitment Coordinator, starting in September. This vital role within the Human Resources Department is essential for delivering an efficient and compliant recruitment service across the school. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting HR by implementing the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring all hiring processes align with safer recruitment practices, safeguarding requirements, and the school’s commitment to attracting high-quality staff.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes for teaching and support roles as directed.
  • \n
  • Publish job adverts across appropriate channels such as TES, school website, and LinkedIn.
  • \n
  • Manage application tracking and ensure all candidate records are accurately maintained.
  • \n
  • Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, responding to email and phone enquiries, providing timely and professional communication.
  • \n
  • Assist with arranging interviews, tasks, and selection processes, including logistics and scheduling.
  • \n
  • Prepare interview packs and candidate documentation.
  • \n
  • Coordinate interview panels and interview selection days, ensuring the process runs smoothly.
  • \n
  • Collate interview feedback and ensure compliance with safer recruitment policies and procedures, including GDPR.
  • \n
  • Assist with pre-employment checks such as Enhanced DBS checks, references, and right to work verification.
  • \n
  • Help produce recruitment metrics and reports for HR, School Executive, and the Governing Body.
  • \n
  • Continuously review recruitment processes to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
  • \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in recruitment coordination, HR administration, or a similar role.
  • \n
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • \n
  • High attention to detail, particularly in compliance-driven processes.
  • \n
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/recruitment systems.
  • \n
