We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Truck Driver to join a busy and growing warehouse team. This is a fantastic temporary-to-permanent opportunity for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver who is looking for long-term stability, development opportunities, and a supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Safely carry out daily warehouse operations in line with health and safety procedures
\n
• Receive, store, pick, pack, and dispatch stock accurately
\n
• Operate Counterbalance Forklift Trucks and warehouse equipment safely
\n
• Complete pre-use equipment and vehicle safety checks
\n
• Process deliveries, returns, and dispatch documentation
\n
• Maintain accurate stock records and system updates
\n
• Assist with freight bookings and shipment preparation
\n
• Support stock counts and inventory activities
\n
• Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with warehouse standards
\n
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and a positive safety culture
\n

What We're Looking For

Essential

\n
• Valid RTITB Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
\n
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience
\n
• Good communication skills
\n
• Ability to carry out manual handling duties
\n
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
\n
• Flexible and proactive approach to work
\n

Desirable

\n
• Bendi Forklift experience
\n
• Experience using bale or pole attachments
\n
• Around 2 years' experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or shop-floor environment
\n
