Technical Business Development Manager | North of England | Home Based£40,000 - £50,000 + Company Car + Bonus + Benefits | Do you enjoy selling technical solutions rather than products?Are you the type of salesperson who enjoys getting out on site, understanding how a customer's business operates and developing the right solution rather than simply chasing the next order?
\nIf so, this could be a fantastic opportunity to join a growing engineering business supplying technical solutions to some of the UK's leading manufacturing and industrial organisations.
\nWe're looking for an experienced Technical Business Development Manager to develop project opportunities across the North of England, working with both existing customers and new prospects.
\nThis is a consultative sales role where you'll work closely with Engineering Managers, Maintenance Managers and Operations teams, helping customers improve, modernise and future-proof their lifting equipment.
\nNo two projects are the same. One day you could be advising on a straightforward equipment upgrade, the next you'll be working alongside technical specialists on a complex refurbishment project worth hundreds of thousands of pounds.
\nWhat you'll be doing
\n- \n
- Developing long-term relationships with manufacturing and industrial customers. \n
- Identifying new project opportunities across your territory. \n
- Visiting customer sites to understand operational requirements. \n
- Working alongside internal technical specialists to develop tailored engineering solutions. \n
- Presenting proposals and managing opportunities through to order. \n
- Building and managing a healthy sales pipeline. \n
- Producing accurate sales forecasts. \n
What we're looking for

Most importantly, you'll know how to build relationships, ask the right questions and manage a consultative sales process.
