About the role of Vehicle Prepper:

The main purpose of the role is to prepare surfaces for various paint and coatings applications.

Contract and Benefits of Vehicle Prepper:

- Temp - Perm contract - with full time contract offered after successful completion of 3 month probation

\n

\n
• Monday - Friday role
\n
• Weekday and weekend overtime available
\n
• Working hours 40 - Mon-Fri
\n
• 0730 - 1600
\n
• Onsite free parking
\n

• Upto £14.50 ph

\n

Core responsibilities of a Vehicle Prepper:

\n

\n
• Filling, sanding, and smoothing surfaces that need to be sprayed
\n
• Clean any contaminants, such as rust and dirt, using abrasive blasting equipment or other hand tools, ensuring smooth surface finishes to maximize adherence to protective coatings
\n
• Apply standards and perform tasks independently, while coordinating with a team of coating application operatives
\n
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols
\n
• Maintaining and cleaning equipment
\n
• Maintaining and enhancing the appearance of the parts
\n
• Any other duties which may be reasonable required
\n

Key Skills required for vehicle prepper:\n

\n
• Previous commercial vehicle prepping
\n
• Previous experience with hand tools
\n
• Shot blasting experience desirable
\n
• Strong attention to details
\n
• Ability to work on own initiative
\n
• Self-motivated and organised
\n
