\n

We are looking for experienced SEND tutors to support children and young people across Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas.

\n

This is a face-to-face tutoring role within alternative provision, supporting students who may currently be outside of mainstream education or receiving personalised education through council-funded support, EHCPs, EOTAS, or specialist placements.

We are looking for tutors with strong experience supporting learners with additional needs, including ADHD, autism, SEMH needs, trauma backgrounds, vulnerable children, challenging behaviour, low confidence, or students who require a more structured and individualised learning approach.

The role can vary depending on the student. Some placements may focus on academic support such as English, Maths or Functional Skills, while others may focus more on engagement, behaviour, routine, confidence building, social development, or helping the student access learning again in a safe and supportive way.

\n

About the Role:

\n

Successful applicants will be onboarded onto our systems and considered for suitable tutoring placements as they become available. New roles are usually added weekly or biweekly, and once a tutor is matched with a student, they will normally remain assigned to that child until the end of term or for the agreed placement period.

Hours may range from 10 to 30 hours per week, depending on your availability, the students timetable, and placement requirements.
