Machine Operator

Role: Machine Operator - Single face roller

Location: DS Smith South Mills, The Ridgeway, Blunham, Bedford MK44 3PH, United Kingdom

Rate: £13.57 per hour (paid breaks), Overtime available for 42+ hours:

  OT 1.5 Monday to Saturday

\n
• \n

  Double time on Sundays

\n

Contract length: temp - perm dependant on performance

Shift Patterns: 6am - 4pm Mon-Thurs (40hrs)

Start: ASAP (within 1-2 weeks)

Responsibilities:

\n
• \n

  Working in line with Health and Safety guidance and processes at all times

\n
• \n

  Managing the setting and running of machinery

\n
• \n

  Achieving high quality standards on all work produced

\n
• \n

  Adhering to customer demands in a timely manner

\n
• \n

  Completing any other duties relevant to the department as requested by the shift manager

\n

Essential requirements:

\n
• \n

  Previous experience in a production environment (2+ years)

\n
• \n

  Strong verbal and written communication

\n
• \n

  Comfortable being on foot for long periods of time

\n
• \n

  Able to conduct manual handling

\n

\n
• \n

  Driving licence and use of a car

\n
