Butler Rose Procurement & Supply Chain are recruiting for a Production Planner to join a growing a manufacturing business based in the Preston area.

• Plan material requirements using production forecasts and customer demand

• Monitor warehouse inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock
\n
• Analyse planning and inventory data to find ways to improve efficiency
\n
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure sourced products are delivered on time at competitive costs
\n

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a planner, production scheduler or materials controller with a strong understanding of inventory management and material planning and ideally experience using ERP or MRP systems.

Offering a salary of £36,000 - £40,000 per annum, working hours are 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday and the business offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), annual incentives, pension scheme and the opportunity to upskill and progress.
