Field Service Engineer - Fabrication & MIG Welding Covering Midlands Patch £38,000 - £42,000 basic + Overtime (Realistic total earnings £50,000) + Training + Van + Pension

Do you have MIG Welding and Fabrication skills and want a field-based role covering the Midlands? Are you looking for variety, job security and a reputable employer?

The company is a national business involved in waste handling and loading bay equipment. Due to winning new long-term contracts, they are looking to expand their operation in key areas of the UK.

The role involves MIG Welding and Fabrication repairs of balers, compactors, dock levellers and similar equipment on behalf of established commercial and industrial clients. The bulk of your work will be around Birmingham, extending out to Shrewsbury, Gloucester and Nottingham, with occasional travel further afield.

The Role:

• Field Service Engineer, working on client sites across the Midlands
\n
• Monday to Friday, 45 hours contracted with 50 hours guaranteed pay
\n
• Overtime paid at time and a half beyond guaranteed hours
\n

Candidate Requirements:

• Good fabrication skills, including MIG welding
\n
• Reasonable mechanical skills
\n
• Full driving licence
\n
