HGV Technician

NMS Recruit are working in partnership with a well-established and highly regarded commercial vehicle dealership to recruit an experienced HGV Technician for their busy workshop in the Hemel Hempstead area. • Carry out fault diagnosis using advanced diagnostic equipment
\n
• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs and associated components
\n
• Complete inspections including MOT preparation and tachograph checks
\n
• Work independently to identify and implement effective repair solutions
\n
• Support and mentor junior technicians where required
\n
• Conduct final quality checks to ensure all work meets required standards
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Proven experience as a HGV Technician
\n
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skillset
\n
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
\n
• Experience working on modern truck systems (main dealer experience advantageous)
\n
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence beneficial but not essential)
\n
• Own tools required
\n
