Job Description
A plumbing and heating supplier are seeking a Driver / Warehouse Operative to support the smooth operation of the branch through the accurate handling, storage, and delivery of stock both locally and nationally. As the Driver / Warehouse Operative you will:\n

- Work closely with the Branch Manager and Branch Team to provide a prompt, reliable service to customers, while consistently upholding Duftons' core value of exceptional customer care. \n
- Liaise with other Duftons branches to plan, organise, and deliver goods in the most efficient and timely way possible. \n
- Verify that all goods loaded and unloaded correspond accurately with the relevant documentation. \n
- Ensure stock is stored and handled correctly preventing damage and maintaining its quality and condition at all times. Promptly report any damaged, missing, or faulty goods to the Branch Manager. \n
- Operate the FLT in a safe and responsible manner to support stock handling and delivery operations. \n
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and overall upkeep within the warehouse and company vehicles. \n
- Maintain accurate records by updating the stock management system and reporting any discrepancies to the Branch Manager. \n
- Assist with stock control activities, including supporting the annual stock take. \n
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all Health & Safety regulations, policies, and procedures, and ensuring team compliance at all times. \n
- Provide cover at other Duftons branches as needed to support operational requirements. \n
- Undertake any additional duties reasonably requested. \n

- Ability to work the occasional Saturday. \n
