\nHours: 20 to 25 hours per week (flexible)

\nAbout Hypo Hounds
\nHypo Hounds is a registered charity that trains diabetic alert assistance dogs to support people living with Type 1 Diabetes, helping to improve independence, confidence and quality of life.
\nWe are looking for an experienced, organised and enthusiastic Manager to lead the day-to-day activities of our small but ambitious charity.
\nWorking from our office in Chart Sutton, Kent, you will manage a team of two staff members and work closely with the Trustees to support the continued growth and success of the charity. This is a varied, hands-on role that requires excellent organisational skills, strong leadership abilities, and experience in fundraising and grant applications.
\nThe successful candidate will receive ongoing support and guidance from Hypo Hounds Co-Founders, Jane Pearman and Sophie Pearman, who remain actively involved in the charity and are passionate about its future development.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day running of the charity. \n
- Lead and support a team of two office-based staff. \n
- Work closely with Trustees to deliver the charity's objectives and strategic plans. \n
- Build and maintain relationships with funders, corporate partners, donors and supporters. \n
- Develop and support fundraising initiatives and campaigns. \n
- Monitor budgets and funding requirements. \n
- Ensure effective administration and smooth office operations. \n
- Prepare reports and updates for Trustees and stakeholders. \n
- Support volunteer engagement and coordination where required. \n
About You
\nThe successful candidate will have:
\n- \n
- Previous management experience, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector but this is not essential. \n
- Experience managing and supporting a small team. \n
- Experience of fundraising would be an advantage \n
- Excellent written communication. \n
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities. \n
- The ability to work independently and use initiative. \n
- Good financial awareness and budget monitoring skills. \n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database/CRM systems. \n
- A passion for making a difference and supporting a growing charity. \n
