Job Title: Forklift Driver Location: Ripon Salary: £13.70 - £14.32 per hourHours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm with early finish at 3:00 pm on a Friday!Are you an experienced Forklift Driver looking for a stable, long term opportunity with a successful and growing company? Our client is a well established organisation within the manufacturing industry and due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their friendly team at their modern, purpose built facility in Ripon.Key Responsibilities as Forklift Driver: \n

- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems to track stock levels and locations. \n
- Load and unload trailers and move stock efficiently within the warehouse. \n
- Pick and pack orders using handheld warehouse devices with exceptional accuracy. \n
- Stock shelves and organise storage areas to maximise space utilisation. \n
- Carry out regular stock checks to maintain high accuracy standards. \n
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and effectively. \n
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times. \n
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment. \n
- Work closely with colleagues and other departments to support service. \n
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of products. \n

- Previous experience within a Warehouse role. \n
- Valid Forklift Licence. \n
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. \n
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, physically demanding environment. \n
- Positive, proactive and reliable attitude. \n
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions. \n
- Basic IT skills with competent Maths and English. \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \n
- Willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement. \n
