Our client is a well established organisation within the manufacturing industry and due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their friendly team at their modern, purpose built facility in Ripon.Key Responsibilities as Forklift Driver: \n

• Manage inventory using warehouse management systems to track stock levels and locations.
\n
• Load and unload trailers and move stock efficiently within the warehouse.
\n
• Pick and pack orders using handheld warehouse devices with exceptional accuracy.
\n
• Stock shelves and organise storage areas to maximise space utilisation.
\n
• Carry out regular stock checks to maintain high accuracy standards.
\n
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and effectively.
\n
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
\n
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
\n
• Work closely with colleagues and other departments to support service.
\n
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of products.
\n

Experience Required:\n

\n
• Previous experience within a Warehouse role.
\n
• Valid Forklift Licence.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
\n
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, physically demanding environment.
\n
• Positive, proactive and reliable attitude.
\n
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
\n
• Basic IT skills with competent Maths and English.
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n
• Willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement.
\n
