Job Description
The Role
\nMy client is looking for a Court of Protection Solicitor to join their specialist team, handling a varied caseload of Health & Welfare Court of Protection matters, with the opportunity to undertake Mental Health Tribunal work if desired.
\nYou will manage your own caseload, provide high-quality advice and representation, and work closely with a supportive team in a collaborative environment.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n• Manage a caseload of Court of Protection (Health & Welfare) matters.
\n• Advise and represent clients while delivering excellent client care.
\n• Meet agreed billing and performance targets.
\n• Maintain accurate file and time records.
\n• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
\n• Keep up to date with relevant legislation and case law.
\n• Participate in supervision and ongoing professional development.
\n• Contribute to business development through networking and building client relationships.
\n• Ensure compliance with SRA, Legal Aid Agency and internal procedures.
\nAbout You
\n• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in Court of Protection (Health & Welfare).
\n• Able to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision.
\n• Strong client care, communication and organisational skills.
\n• Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail.
\n• A team player with a proactive and professional approach.
\n• Committed to delivering high-quality legal services.
