\nSpencer Clarke Group are working with a well-established nursery in Kirkham who are looking to appoint an experienced Nursery Manager to join their team from September.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a confident and knowledgeable Early Years professional who is ready to lead a nursery setting, support staff development and ensure children receive the highest standard of care, learning and development.
\nThe successful candidate will have previous experience in a Nursery Manager or senior leadership role within an Early Years setting. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards across safeguarding, compliance, staff management, parent communication and the delivery of the EYFS.
Working Hours\nThis is a 40-hour-per-week role, working Monday to Friday, with flexibility for the successful candidate to work across 4 days where required.
\nThe role follows an alternating shift pattern:
\nOne week early shift: 7:30am to 4:30pmOne week late shift: 8:00am to 6:00pm
\nThe position includes 28 days of holiday allowance per year. The nursery also closes for one week over the Christmas period.
The Role\nAs Nursery Manager, you will take responsibility for leading the nursery team and ensuring the setting runs smoothly, safely and effectively.
\nYou will be responsible for:
\nLeading and managing the nursery team on a day-to-day basisEnsuring high standards of care, education and safeguardingOverseeing planning, routines and the delivery of the EYFSSupporting staff performance, development and wellbeingBuilding positive relationships with parents, carers and external professionalsMaintaining compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirementsCreating a warm, safe and engaging environment for children to learn and thrive
The Ideal Candidate\nWe are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager who is:
\nConfident leading an Early Years teamKnowledgeable about the EYFS and safeguarding requirementsOrganised, proactive and professionalAble to motivate, support and develop staffStrong in communication with families and colleaguesCommitted to maintaining high standards across the settingExperienced in managing nursery operations, compliance and daily routines
\nA relevant Early Years qualification is required, along with previous management experience within a nursery or Early Years setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
