What You’ll Be Doing- based from their Suffolk HQ commutable from Saxmundham:

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll become a true business partner to your clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Building strong client relationships through professionalism, clear communication, and expert advice.
\n
• Advising on tax planning and business strategy, and supporting ad-hoc projects.
\n
• Preparing financial and management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
\n
• Guiding and reviewing junior team members’ work, helping them grow professionally.
\n
• Managing budgets and time reporting, keeping projects on track and profitable.
\n
• Collaborating on firm-wide goals, contributing to growth and operational strategy.
\n

What We’re Looking For - to thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

• Part AAT/ACCA qualification (or equivalent experience).
\n
• Previous experience in an accountancy firm, working to UK regulations.
\n
• Strong knowledge of FRS 102a and FRS 105, and experience preparing company accounts and tax computations.
\n
• Expertise across corporate, personal, VAT, and income tax.
\n
• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting tools like Xero and TaxCalc.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to mentor others.
\n
