Zonal Manager Supported Accommodation Children and Young People Location: Bradford Type: Permanent Hours: Full-time (Based on a Rota) Salary: £43,000 - £46,500 NVQ / ILM Level 5 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent) A new Zonal Manager opportunity has become available within our service for young people across Calderdale, Kirklees, and Bradford. We are seeking an experienced social care professional who is ready to make a meaningful impact, inspire others, and lead with confidence. USP- Children and young people's residential care, supported accommodation and community support, In this role, you will support Assistant Managers across 24/7 staffed group living environments and outreach provisions. You will work closely with, and be well supported by, the Registered Service Manager. As we transition to a service-led model, there will also be a clear pathway to progress into a Service Manager position. Essential Criteria A strong commitment to supporting looked after individuals and working in an anti-oppressive way NVQ / ILM Level 3 / QCF Level 4 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent), or working towards this Experience within care settings, residential environments, or similar roles supporting young people Knowledge of key legislation including the Children Act 1989/2004, Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and the Leaving Care Act (2000) Strong communication and IT skills You will report directly to the Registered Service Manager and receive ongoing mentoring and support.
