Provide specialist commissioning services for Building Management Systems (BMS) on commercial and industrial projects from system energisation through to client handover.

BMS Commissioning Engineer
\n Slough
\n 6 month initial contract
\n Outside IR35

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Commission BMS control systems, controllers, networks and field devices.
\n
• Perform point-to-point testing, I/O checks, functional testing and cause-and-effect verification.
\n
• Commission HVAC plant including AHUs, boilers, chillers, FCUs, VAV systems, pumps and associated equipment.
\n
• Modify and optimise BMS software to meet project specifications.
\n
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and communication faults.
\n
• Produce commissioning documentation and test records.
\n
• Support client demonstrations, witness testing and project handover.
\n
• Liaise with project managers, M&E contractors and end users to ensure successful project delivery.
\n

Core Skills

\n
• Commissioning and fault-finding of BMS control systems.
\n
• Strong HVAC controls knowledge.
\n
• Interpretation of electrical schematics and control drawings.
\n
• Experience with Trend, Siemens, Schneider, Tridium, Honeywell and BACnet/Modbus systems.
\n
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites while maintaining high quality and health & safety standards.
\n
