Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for employee relations and supporting managers to achieve the best outcomes for their teams? Our healthcare client is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join their HR team and play a key role in delivering high-quality people support across the organisation.

About the Role\n

Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you will provide expert guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters, ensuring managers are supported with fair, consistent and legally compliant solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, coaching managers and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Act as the first point of contact for managers on employee relations matters.
  • \n
  • Provide advice and guidance on disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance management cases.
  • \n
  • Support the management of short and long-term sickness absence cases.
  • \n
  • Assist with investigations, hearings and formal HR processes.
  • \n
  • Draft HR correspondence, case documentation and outcome letters.
  • \n
  • Support managers with occupational health referrals and recommendations.
  • \n
  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders, managers and trade union representatives.
  • \n
  • Deliver coaching and training to managers on HR policies and best practice.
  • \n
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, policies and procedures.
  • \n
  • Support wider HR projects and initiatives as required.
  • \n
About You\n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

    \n
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards), or equivalent HR advisory experience.
  • \n
  • Strong experience managing complex employee relations cases.
  • \n
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • \n
  • Experience drafting professional HR documentation and correspondence.
  • \n
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • \n
  • Confidence in coaching and advising managers at all levels.
  • \n
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems, with iTrent experience being advantageous.
