IFA Administrator

An independent, whole of market financial planning firm near Newton-le-Willows is looking for an IFA Administrator to join its client support team. Salary to £28,000, employer pension through a salary sacrifice scheme, full CII study support and flexible start and finish times.

About the firm:

This is an independently owned financial planning practice, whole of market rather than tied to a network or a consolidator, advising clients across pensions, investments, inheritance tax and protection. Administrators sit inside a proper support function alongside paraplanners and advisers, so the IFA Administrator job is technical work, not general office admin. The firm funds CII study and has an established path from administration into paraplanning and on into advice. The team is growing, and the culture is collaborative and human.

The job:

This is a hands-on IFA Administrator job on a busy desk, with real ownership of client cases from start to finish.

• Owning client cases end to end through to completion
\n
• Chasing providers for outstanding information to keep cases moving
\n
• Processing new business and platform applications accurately
\n
• Preparing client packs, valuations and meeting documentation
\n
• Handling client queries by phone and email
\n
• Keeping client records and the back office system up to date
\n

What you'll need:

• Financial services experience, financial planning administration ideally
\n
• Accurate and organised on a busy desk
\n
• Confidence dealing with providers and clients directly
\n
• Organised, with the judgement to prioritise a full workload
\n
• Comfortable across back office systems and Microsoft Office
\n

The package:

• £25,000 to £28,000 depending on experience
\n
• Employer pension through a salary sacrifice scheme
\n
• Full CII study support, with a clear path into paraplanning
\n
• Flexible start and finish times
\n
• Free on-site parking
\n
