Floor Layer

Working on behalf of our client, we are hiring for a floor layer to start work ASAP in Wrexham. The ideal candidate will work for around 6 weeks and be able to commute to Wrexham throughout the week.

Key Duties

• Install commercial sheet vinyl flooring to a high standard.
\n
• Prepare subfloors prior to installation where required.
\n
• Measure, cut and fit vinyl flooring accurately.
\n
• Hot weld vinyl joints using your own welding equipment.
\n
• Ensure all flooring is finished to a high-quality standard.
\n
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines during the school shutdown.
\n
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
\n
• Liaise with site management and work alongside other trades as required.
\n

What we are looking for

\n
• Experience cutting and welding vinyl flooring
\n
• Own tools and PPE including a vinyl flooring welder
\n
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
\n
• Reliable, punctual and able to work to tight deadlines.
\n

What our client can offer in return

• £200/day + travel
\n
• Monday to Friday 8am-4pm
\n
• Roughly 6 weeks worth of work
