Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Walsall that is committed to creating a positive, nurturing, and ambitious learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential. The school promotes high expectations, respect, inclusivity, and a love of learning, making it a fantastic place to teach and develop professionally. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join the team from October 2026 until March 2027 to cover a planned absence.

Your new role

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons that support pupils' academic and personal development
\n
• Adapt and tailor existing planning to suit your teaching style and the needs of your class
\n
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress
\n
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
\n
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
\n
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
\n
• Benefit from allocated PPA time and support from the wider teaching team
\n

What you'll need to succeed

\n
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
\n
• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
\n
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
\n
• Ability to adapt planning and deliver engaging lessons
\n
• A flexible, proactive, and positive approach to teaching
\n
• Strong communication and organisational skills
\n
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
\n
