Robert Half are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and market-leading business operating within the UK agricultural and rural services sector to recruit a Credit Control Manager.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced credit professional to take ownership of the credit control function within a highly respected national organisation. Working closely with operational leaders and senior management, you will drive improvements in cash collection, strengthen credit processes and deliver meaningful reporting that supports business performance and cash flow management.
\nThe role offers a blend of operational credit control, process improvement and stakeholder management, making it ideal for a commercially minded individual looking to make a tangible impact across the business.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Lead and develop the credit control function, managing and supporting the Credit Controller. \n
- Take ownership of key customer accounts, proactively chasing outstanding debt and improving collection performance. \n
- Work closely with operational stakeholders to understand outstanding balances and implement effective recovery plans. \n
- Manage escalation processes, including credit hold procedures and external debt recovery where required. \n
- Develop and standardise credit management policies and procedures across the business. \n
- Establish and maintain KPI reporting to identify risks, trends and collection opportunities. \n
- Improve cash flow forecasting through enhanced reporting and analysis. \n
- Support customer onboarding, credit screening and cash reconciliation processes. \n
- Manage bad debt provisions and oversee relationships with external legal advisers where appropriate. \n
- Produce insightful reporting for senior leadership and operational stakeholders. \n
- Support wider finance improvement projects and initiatives. \n
Skills & Experience
\n- \n
- Proven experience within a Credit Control Manager or senior Credit Control position. \n
- Strong track record of improving collections and reducing aged debt. \n
- Excellent Excel skills and strong analytical capability. \n
- ICM qualification desirable. \n
- Experience working with ERP systems; IFS knowledge would be advantageous. \n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple levels of an organisation. \n
- Highly organised with a results-driven approach and excellent attention to detail. \n
