Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
\nSalary: Competitive, dependent on experience
\nContract: 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract (with potential for extension or a permanent opportunity)
\nHours: Full-Time (5 days per week). Occasional Saturday work may be required depending on event schedules.
\nStart Date: August/September 2026
\n About the Company\nWe are recruiting on behalf of a client seeking an organised and proactive Event Coordinator & Administrator to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous administrative or customer-facing experience who is looking to develop their career within events and operations.
\nWorking in a hybrid environment, you'll split your time between home working and attending events on-site. Your working pattern will vary depending on the event schedule, making this a varied and rewarding role.
\n The Role\nWorking on behalf of a client we're representing, you'll play a key role in supporting the planning, organisation and delivery of events, while also providing day-to-day administrative support to ensure everything runs efficiently.
\nThis role would suit someone who has gained experience in administration, customer service, hospitality, events or another fast-paced environment and is ready to take the next step in their career.
\n Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Assist with planning and coordinating events from start to finish. \n
- Liaise with venues, suppliers, clients and attendees. \n
- Support event logistics, registrations and scheduling. \n
- Attend events when required to provide on-site support. \n
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems. \n
- Manage emails, calendars, document preparation and general administrative duties. \n
- Prepare event materials and delegate packs. \n
- Support the wider team with project coordination and operational tasks. \n
- Deliver a professional and friendly service to clients and stakeholders. \n
We're looking for someone who has:

- Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, hospitality or events role. \n
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. \n
- Confident verbal and written communication skills. \n
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. \n
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook. \n
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. \n
- Flexibility to travel to event locations and occasionally work Saturdays when required. \n
