Initial 6-month temp, could be extending to 9 months

£13.85 - £15.38/hr

We are working with a growing organisation in Bristol requires an experienced Finance Assistant to support the finance team during a key period of operational activity.This role offers broad exposure across transactional finance and reporting activities and would suit an organised finance professional who enjoys a varied workload and can add value quickly.

• Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions
\n
• Managing supplier payments and customer receipts
\n
• Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
\n
• Allocating cash and investigating account discrepancies
\n
• Supporting credit control activities where required
\n
• Preparing journals and assisting with month-end reporting
\n
• Processing expenses and company card transactions
\n
• Supporting balance sheet reconciliations
\n
• Producing routine financial reports for stakeholders
\n
• Maintaining accurate financial records and controls
\n
• Assisting with finance projects and process improvements
\n

What We Are Looking For

\n
• Previous experience within a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or Finance Administrator role
\n
• Strong reconciliations experience
\n
• Confident user of Excel and finance systems
\n
• Ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities
\n
• Excellent attention to detail
\n
• Available immediately or within one month's notice preferred
\n

Location

This role is based in Bristol with a hybrid working pattern. Applicants should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Bristol or Bath.
