Practice Accountant / Client Manager

You'll take ownership of your own client portfolio, becoming a trusted adviser rather than simply completing compliance work.

Your role will include:

• Managing a varied portfolio of clients and being their first point of contact
\n
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts and tax returns
\n
• Providing proactive accounting, tax and business advice
\n
• Supporting clients with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning
\n
• Building long-term client relationships and helping businesses grow
\n
• Reviewing work and mentoring junior members of the team
\n
• Supporting advisory projects and business development initiatives
\n
• Driving improvements through technology and smarter ways of working
\n

You'll already have experience within an accountancy practice and enjoy working closely with clients.

Ideally you'll have:

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification (or be qualified by experience)
\n
• Experience managing your own client portfolio
\n
• Strong technical knowledge across accounts and tax
\n
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
\n
• Experience reviewing work and supporting junior colleagues
\n
• A proactive, commercially minded approach with a passion for delivering great client service
\n
