Elevation Recruitment Group's Business Support team are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an Import / Export Coordinator to join their established logistics and supply chain team based in North Sheffield.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous import/export, customs or logistics experience who is looking to develop their career within a global manufacturing business.

Working closely with freight forwarders, purchasing teams and internal departments, you'll play a key role in ensuring all import and export activities are completed accurately, efficiently and in full compliance with HMRC regulations.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing export documentation to ensure full HMRC compliance
\n
• Reviewing HMRC MSS Export Reports and resolving any discrepancies
\n
• Liaising with freight forwarders to obtain Proof of Export and Export Declarations
\n
• Collating and maintaining export documentation for all UK shipments
\n
• Providing import clearance instructions to customs brokers and freight forwarders when required
\n
• Managing shipping invoices and supporting cost-effective freight operations
\n
• Working collaboratively with Logistics, Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse and Customer Service teams to ensure the smooth movement of goods
\n

What we're looking for:

\n
• Previous experience within an Import/Export, Logistics, Customs or Supply Chain role
\n
• Good understanding of import/export processes and customs compliance
\n
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
\n
• Confident communicator, able to build relationships with internal teams and external partners
\n
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
\n
• A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and support the wider team
\n
