Hybrid, 2-3 days in office per week, approximately 2 weekends per month on site. London based offices with travel to event sites across London and UK-wide

£50000 - £60000 per annum + benefits + overtime

The Company

A specialist events consultancy focused on crowd and traffic management for live events, covering a variety of national venue shows, major outdoor festivals, sporting and agricultural events. Team deployments range from a handful of staff to 250 on a single show. The portfolio is varied, the culture is relaxed without being unambitious, and the Senior Operations Manager who joins will find a team with motivated, supportive and driven employees.

The Role

As Senior Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the department end to end, from planning through to on-site delivery.

  • Lead and mentor two direct reports within the operations team
  • \n
  • Managing assigned events from initial planning through to seamless on-site delivery, ensuring all objectives are met on

  • time and within budge
  • \n
  • Manage events across logistics, crowd management and on-site execution
  • \n
  • Prepare operational plans, briefing documents and traffic management plans including CAD
  • \n
  • Build client and stakeholder relationships, manage accounts and prepare quotes
  • \n
  • Represent the business at SAG meetings and liaise with councils and TfL
  • \n

The Candidate

The right person for this Senior Operations Manager role will have a proven background in large-scale live event operations and the confidence to lead a team independently.

\n

You will have hands-on experience managing large casual or zero-hours teams across live events, a grounding in health and safety (a formal qualification is preferable), and strong written and verbal communication skills. A valid UK driving licence with no more than three points and the ability to drive a company van are required. Comfort with weekend site work roughly twice a month is essential. Experience in festival logistics, traffic management planning or CAD is beneficial but not essential, and backgrounds in crowd management, venue operations or live events project management are all welcome.
