Job Description
Our client, a reputable and well known manufacturing business is looking to appoint an Panel Wirer to join a growing electrical manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in building and wiring control panels who can confidently interpret electrical schematics and work to a high standard of quality.
\nThe successful Panel Wirer will play a key role in the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical control panels for a variety of industrial applications.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Assemble and wire electrical control panels from engineering drawings and electrical schematics. \n
- Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings accurately. \n
- Install electrical components including relays, PLCs, contactors, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, and variable speed drives. \n
- Route, terminate, label, and test wiring to company and industry standards. \n
- Carry out panel modifications and fault finding where required. \n
- Perform electrical continuity and functional testing prior to dispatch. \n
- Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical standards and health & safety requirements. \n
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment. \n
- Work closely with engineers and production teams to meet project deadlines. \n
Essential Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a Panel Wirer, Electrical Fitter, or Control Panel Builder. \n
- Ability to confidently read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. \n
- Experience wiring industrial control panels. \n
- Excellent understanding of electrical components and control systems. \n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \n
- Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills. \n
