Job Description
Our client, a reputable family-run independent automotive accident repair centre based in Bristol, has an immediate vacancy for a Vehicle Damage Assessor. - Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am to 5:00pm (40-hour week) \n

- Produce manual and computerised estimates in line with insurer and customer requirements \n
- Ensure vehicle repairs are carried out efficiently, maintaining profitability \n
- Maintain detailed records of all estimates, identifying and managing unauthorised work \n
- Secure authorisation for work outside standard estimates and follow up on outstanding approvals \n
- Liaise with the bodyshop team to communicate repair specifications clearly \n
- Advise on vehicles deemed as “total loss” in accordance with insurance and company policies \n
- Adhere to all applicable Health and Safety regulations \n
- Maintain compliance with insurer guidelines and customer care standards \n

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor \n
- Strong knowledge of vehicle estimating processes \n
- Ideally Audatex trained/qualified \n
- Automotive Technical Accreditation (ATA) or manufacturer training is advantageous but not essential \n
- Experience with Autoflow Bodyshop Management System is a plus \n
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points \n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills \n
