Financial analyst

Location: London (Hybrid - 1-2 days per week in the office)Salary: Up to £55,000Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

An established financial services business is looking to appoint a Financial Analyst to join its finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a broad role supporting financial reporting, budgeting and project work across the finance function. You'll be involved in preparing revenue reporting, analysing financial data and supporting ongoing systems and process improvements, making it well suited to someone who enjoys working across both BAU and project activity.

• Prepare revenue reporting and financial analysis
\n
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
\n
• Produce financial reports for key stakeholders
\n
• Assist with month-end activities and accounting entries
\n
• Support finance projects and system improvements
\n
• Work closely with the wider finance team to improve reporting processes
\n

\n
• Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
\n
• Strong understanding of double-entry accounting
\n
• US GAAP experience desirable
\n
• Previous experience within Financial Services, ideally Insurance, Pensions, Banking or Corporate Finance
\n
• Experience preparing financial or revenue reporting
\n
• Strong Excel skills
\n
• Previous exposure to finance change or project work would be advantageous
