Yard Operative

Rapier Employment are recruiting for a Yard Operative to join our well-established client in Abingdon. ** This could be a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate. A Full UK Licence is required for this role **Job role: Yard OperativeSalary: £14.00 per hourExpected hours: 45 hours per weekDays: Monday-Friday with occasional weekends overtimeDuties to include, but not limited to:\n

• Washing and cleaning of products ready for client use.
\n
• Ensure items are put in correct storage areas ready for distribution.
\n
• Support inventory management for tools and spare parts, keeping track of all tools issued and returned.
\n
• Ensure the washer is maintained and cleaned on a regular basis.
\n
• Complete paperwork daily and provide to the supervisor on shift.
\n
• This role is based outdoors, so will require working in all weather conditions. Full appropriate PPE will be issued for this role.
\n
• Full UK driving licence required. The Yard Operative may need to transport hand tools between site and customer if required.
\n

Full training will be provided, with development opportunities and ability to progress within the company.Required:\n

• Good communication skills and time management.

• CSCS Card - training to be provided.
\n
• Experience with hand and power tools
\n
