MOT Tester

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-established, family-oriented client in Guildford, Surrey, for a skilled MOT Tester. Duties as a MOT Tester:\n

\n
• Conduct comprehensive MOT inspections in line with current UK legislation
\n
• Accurately identify defects related to safety and emissions, including brakes, tyres, suspension, lighting, and exhaust systems
\n
• Document inspection findings thoroughly and communicate effectively with the service team and vehicle owners
\n
• Maintain calibration and proper functioning of testing equipment
\n
• Keep up-to-date with changes in MOT regulations and testing procedures
\n
• Support a safe and efficient workshop environment to uphold the dealership’s reputation
\n
• Assist with vehicle repairs or diagnostics when required, ensuring quality standards are met
\n

Requirements:\n

• Proven experience as an MOT Tester with current certification
\n
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• Valid MOT Tester qualification
\n
• Demonstrable commitment to delivering high-quality service

• Positive attitude, reliable, and motivated to contribute to team success
