More about your role

\n

As our Community & Colleague Engagement Apprentice,you'llsupport the delivery of colleague engagement, wellbeing, volunteering, fundraising and early careers activity across RMG. Working closely with the Engagement Manager,you'llhelp create positive experiences for colleagues while supporting programmes that make a meaningful difference in our communities.

\n

This is a varied apprenticeship where no two days are the same.You'llsupport communications and engagement campaigns, coordinate volunteering and community activity,assistwith careers and employability initiatives, create content for colleaguecommunicationsand help measure the impact of our work.

Whatyou'llbe doing

  • You'llsupport the planning and delivery of colleague engagement activities, including focus groups, colleague updates,surveysand internal campaigns.
  • \n

    \n
  • Using tools such as Canva,you'llhelp create engaging internal communications, including content for digitalscreensandinternal publications, including magazine content for onsite teams.
  • \n
\n
    \n
  • A key part of the role will be supporting our volunteering programme, helping to source and promote opportunities, trackparticipationand coordinate activity with charity partners.
  • \n
\n
    \n
  • Assistingwith wellbeing, fundraising and social value initiatives that encourage colleague participation and make a positive impact.
  • \n
\n
    \n
  • Helpingbuild relationships with community partners,schoolsand colleges to support outreach, work experience, careers fairs andearlycareers engagement.
  • \n
\n
    \n
  • You'llassistwith the organisation of internal events, supporting withlogistics, communications and on-the-day delivery.
  • \n
\n
    \n
  • Alongside this,you'llsupport the gathering and reporting of engagement and social value data, helping us measure the impact of our work andidentifyopportunities to keep improving.

  • We'relooking for someone who is enthusiastic,organisedand keen to learn.

  • You'llhave strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with a range of people.You'llbe creative,proactiveand able to manage a few different priorities at once.
  • \n
\n
    \n
  • You'llalso have basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and be willing to learn new systems and tools. Confidence engaging with external stakeholders such as schools, charities or community groups would also be beneficial.
  • \n
\n
    \n
  • It would be great if you have experience supporting events or projects, an interest in colleague engagement, community impact or early careers, and some experience using tools like Canva, Teams, Viva Engage or Outlook, although full support and guidance will be provided.
  • \n
\n
    \n
  • Most importantly,we'relooking for someone with a positive attitude,curiosityand a genuine interest in making a difference.
