Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Project Manager (M&E Building Services) for our client based in Glasgow.
\nRole Overview
\nThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a background in Mechanical & Electrical Building Services to join a growing and financially secure organisation. Working across Glasgow and the Central Belt, the successful candidate will take ownership of commercial and industrial projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in the continued growth of an expanding Building Services division.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Manage the successful delivery of multiple M&E building services projects. \n
- Coordinate site teams, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery. \n
- Monitor project progress, ensuring programmes and milestones are achieved. \n
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and main contractors throughout the project lifecycle. \n
- Oversee project budgets and support strong commercial performance. \n
- Attend and lead site and project meetings. \n
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety legislation and company procedures. \n
- Manage projects from pre-start through to final handover. \n
- Coordinate material procurement and call-offs to support construction programmes. \n
- Maintain strong working relationships with all project stakeholders. \n
- Ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. \n
Skills & Experience
\n- \n
- Previous experience managing Mechanical & Electrical Building Services projects. \n
- Time-served Electrician, Plumber/Heating Engineer, or other relevant industry background. \n
- Strong project management and organisational skills. \n
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. \n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Good commercial awareness with the ability to monitor project performance. \n
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. \n
- Full UK Driving Licence. \n
