\n\nWe are seeking an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to join our specialist SEND primary school and work alongside the Headteacher to drive excellence in teaching, learning, safeguarding, and pupil outcomes.

About the Role\nAs Deputy Headteacher, you will:

- Support the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school. \n
- Drive high standards of teaching, learning, behaviour, and attendance. \n
- Lead and develop staff through coaching, mentoring, and professional development. \n
- Champion inclusive practice and high aspirations for all pupils. \n
- Work collaboratively with families, external professionals, and key stakeholders. \n
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead or Deputy DSL where appropriate. \n
- Deputise for the Headteacher in their absence. \n
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
\nEnhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
\nSignificant experience in a leadership role within SEND education
\nProven experience supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, communication and learning difficulties
\nStrong understanding of SEND legislation, EHCP processes and inclusive practice
\nProven ability to improve outcomes for vulnerable pupils
\nExcellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
\nCommitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
