This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Upper Key Stage 2 practitioner who can build positive relationships, maintain high expectations, and successfully guide pupils through their SATs preparation.Your new roleAs the Year 6 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire and motivate learners
  • \n
  • Support pupils through their SATs preparation and examinations
  • \n
  • Adapt and personalise existing planning to suit your teaching style and the needs of the class
  • \n
  • Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress effectively
  • \n
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • \n
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • \n
  • Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team
  • \n
  • Benefit from dedicated PPA time to support your workload
  • \n

What you'll need to succeed

\n
    \n
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • \n
  • Recent experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
  • \n
  • Experience preparing pupils for SATs and securing positive outcomes
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • \n
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • \n
  • Ability to adapt planning and deliver high-quality lessons
  • \n
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • \n
  • A proactive and positive approach to teaching
  • \n
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain o
  • \n
