Quality Control Inspector

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Inspector to join our well-established client based in Skelmersdale. This is a fantastic opportunity offering £13.61 per hour, Monday to Friday working hours, an early finish every Friday, ongoing training, a supportive working environment and genuine opportunities for career progression.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Quality Control Inspector, QC Inspector, Quality Inspector, Manufacturing Inspector, Quality Technician, Quality Assurance Inspector, QA Inspector, or Production Quality Inspector.

Shifts

\n

• Monday to Thursday - 08:00 to 16:30 • Friday - 08:00 to 15:30

Rates of Pay

\n

• £13.61 per hour • Weekly pay

Day-to-Day Duties

\n

As a Quality Control Inspector, your duties will include but are not limited to:

\n

• Carrying out inspections of manufactured products at all stages of production, including supplier inspections where required • Identifying, recording and controlling non-conforming products in line with company procedures • Maintaining accurate inspection records and reporting any quality concerns to the Quality Control Supervisor • Working alongside customer inspectors to complete witness and hold point inspections • Ensuring all inspection activities are completed in line with production schedules and quality standards • Following all company Health & Safety, Quality and Standard Operating Procedures • Maintaining high housekeeping standards within Quality Control areas • Checking that all measuring and inspection equipment is correctly calibrated before use • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and best practice across the department • Completing cross-functional training within Quality Control operations • Operating handling equipment, including forklift trucks and overhead cranes, where authorised • Undertaking any other reasonable duties as required

Desirable Experience

\n

• HNC (or equivalent) in Manufacturing, Engineering or a Science-related discipline • Previous experience within a Quality Control or Quality Assurance environment • Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment • Knowledge of continuous improvement processes and quality systems • Experience building strong working relationships across multiple departments
