Bookkeeper/Management Accountant

Our client, an established independent firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Management Accountant to join their growing team in Southampton, Hampshire.

The role will involve dealing with the bookkeeping, VAT, preparing management accounts, maintaining financial records and processing and reconciling client data, ensuring deadlines are met.

You will ideally have at least 2-3 years UK bookkeeping experience in practice and hold a professional qualification such as AAT Level 3/4, or working towards this.

A good working knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Sage and IRIS would be an advantage, along with a good understanding of double entry bookkeeping and various VAT schemes including margin schemes and CIS.

You may also be asked to attend the firm's other offices or clients' premises from time to time.
