Marine TechnicianLondon | Hybrid (2 Days in the Office) | Up to £50,000 + Excellent BenefitsA leading independent Lloyd's Broker is looking to appoint an experienced Insurance Technician to join its growing London Market team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected business that continues to invest in its people, offering genuine long-term career development alongside exposure to a varied portfolio of complex risks.Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you'll play a key role in the technical servicing of international insurance accounts, ensuring the accurate processing of documentation and delivering first-class support to Brokers and Clients.The RoleAs an Insurance Technician, you'll be responsible for supporting the end-to-end technical handling of London Market business, ensuring all documentation is processed accurately and within agreed service standards.Key responsibilities include:\n

- Preparing and processing slips, endorsements, MRCs and policy documentation. \n
- Managing premium processing, closings and associated technical administration. \n
- Liaising with Brokers, Underwriters, Clients and overseas partners to resolve queries. \n
- Producing accurate documentation in line with Lloyd's and Company Market procedures. \n
- Maintaining internal systems and ensuring records remain compliant and up to date. \n
- Supporting renewals, new business and mid-term adjustments across a varied portfolio. \n
- Assisting with technical projects and process improvement initiatives where required. \n
- \n
- Previous London Market or Lloyd's insurance experience. \n
- Strong technical processing knowledge across insurance documentation. \n
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. \n
- Experience using London Market systems such as PPL, DXC/Xchanging or similar would be advantageous. \n
- Confident communication skills and the ability to build relationships across internal and external stakeholders. \n
- A proactive approach with a desire to continue developing your career. \n
