Role Overview
\nWe are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide full-time support within a mainstream primary school setting from September. The role is likely to be based across EYFS and KS1, supporting pupils' learning, development, and wellbeing within the classroom environment.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Support teaching and learning activities under the direction of the class teacher. \n
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning objectives. \n
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement in classroom activities. \n
- Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom organisation. \n
- Support children's social, emotional, and educational development. \n
- Use initiative to respond to pupil needs and adapt support where required. \n
- Contribute positively as part of the wider school team. \n
Essential Criteria
\n- \n
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting. \n
- Knowledge and experience of supporting children in EYFS and/or KS1. \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. \n
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and use initiative. \n
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families. \n
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. \n
Desirable Criteria
\n- \n
- Experience working across both EYFS and KS1. \n
- Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). \n
- Understanding of inclusive classroom practices and SEND support strategies. \n
- Relevant TA qualification or equivalent experience. \n
