Vehicle Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client’s reputable team in Chelmsford, Essex. • Basic salary of £35,000 per annum, with an estimated OTE of £47,000.

• Monday to Friday working hours, with Saturday mornings on a rotational basis.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:\n

• Servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles according to manufacturer standards.
\n
• Conducting diagnostics and fault finding on various vehicle systems.
\n
• Performing routine maintenance and technical repairs efficiently and accurately.
\n
• Ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards.
\n
• Keeping detailed records of work carried out and parts used.
\n
• Assisting with vehicle inspections and preparing vehicles for customer collection.
\n

Requirements:\n

\n
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role within the motor trade.
\n
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
\n
• Good understanding of vehicle diagnostics and electronic systems.
\n
• Full UK driving licence.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
\n
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
\n
