Automotive Technical Trainer

Our client, a leading automotive training centre representing a prominent manufacturer, is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technical Trainer to join their team in Aylesbury. This is a unique opportunity for experienced vehicle technicians to transition into a training role within a modern, well-resourced facility. The ideal individual for the Automotive Technical Trainer role will possess a solid automotive technical background and a passion for sharing knowledge with others.Benefits:\n

Duties:\n

\n
• Develop and deliver technical training programmes for dealer network technicians as an Automotive Technical Trainer
\n
• Support manufacturer product range through expert training sessions
\n
• Design engaging training materials and deliver presentations using PowerPoint
\n
• Conduct training sessions at the company’s state-of-the-art training centre and occasionally at external sites
\n
• Collaborate with colleagues to continually improve training content and assess delegate performance
\n
• Support the ongoing technical development of staff and uphold training standards as an Automotive Technical Trainer
\n

Requirements:\n

\n
• Extensive knowledge of modern vehicle technology, with a preference for trucks or commercial vehicles
\n
• Hands-on repair and maintenance experience, or relevant qualifications suitable for the role
\n
• Strong communication and presentation skills, confident in engaging and motivating learners
\n
• Excellent organisational skills to manage training schedules and meet deadlines
\n
• Flexible team player with a proactive approach to learning and development
\n
• Current driving licence; passport required for occasional European travel
\n
• Interest in continuing professional development and enhancing training programmes in the capacity of an Automotive Technical Trainer
\n
