Annual Salary: £28,000Location: LangleyJob Type: Full-time, 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 12-hour shifts

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our client's busy warehouse team in Langley. You will play a vital role in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
\n
• Receive, check, and accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments.
\n
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in line with customer requirements.
\n
• Ensure stock is stored correctly and warehouse locations are maintained.
\n
• Complete required paperwork and update warehouse systems accurately.
\n
• Carry out regular stock checks and assist with inventory control.
\n
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures.
\n
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
\n
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
\n
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet operational targets and deadlines.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
• GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) preferred.
\n
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience is advantageous.
\n
• FLT Counterbalance licence desirable but not essential.
\n
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock and documentation.
\n
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
\n
• Basic IT skills and experience using warehouse management systems would be beneficial.
\n
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage workload effectively.
\n
• A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
\n
