Job Title:Digital Print Operator / Trainee
\nJob Type: Permanent/ Full time: 39.5 hours.
\nLocation: Site based. Bromyard, Herefordshire, HR7
\nSalary: Trainee level: £12.80 p/h, rising to £13.15 p/h upon successful completion of 3-month probation.
\nDigital Printer Operator level: £13 p/h, rising to £13.30 p/h upon successful completion of 3-month probation.
\nThe company is open to this position either being a trainee position or experienced position dependant on the candidate, so whilst no digital print experience is necessary, we would encourage both trainees and experienced digital print operators to apply as wed be keen to speak to you.

\nAs a Digital Print Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials.

\nMain Duties and Responsibilities
\nOperation of digital printing machinery
\nSet up and adjust printing equipment according to job specifications
\nMonitor the printing process to ensure quality and consistency
\nTroubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the printing process
\nPerform routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance
\nCollaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
\nFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area
\nYou will be expected to carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required by the company
\nPerson Specification
\nExperience, Skills, and Knowledge
\nThe Digital Print Operator should be capable of adapting to changes in technology, processes, and be open to innovation and continuous improvement in printing processes and techniques. They should have the ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute positively to a team environment and have the ability to handle the pressures and demands of a fast-paced production environment.
\nEssential:
\nPrevious machine operating or manufacturing experience is highly preferred but not essential, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are of key importance
\nNeed to be competent on computers. The role includes using Mac and Windows based computers, candidates must be comfortable with their IT skills.
\nAbility to read and interpret job orders and specifications
\nGood organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work
\nAbility to work accurately and methodically under pressure
\nStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
\nInitiative, with problem-solving skills
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively across departments and with management.
\nSelf-motivated and can work with minimal supervision
\nDemonstrable desire to learn printing, especially if no previous experience in this field.
\nQualifications:
\nDesirable:
\nKnowledge of printing processes, equipment, and materials
\nExperience in Rasta Link 6, Adobe Creative Suite & Illustrator Photo-Shop software.
\nGCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics and English at grade C (or equivalent) or above
\nDiploma or City & Guilds in printing.
\nRelevant qualifications or certifications in print production or related field
\nAdditional requirement

\nDriving license due to location
