HGV Class 2 Driver

TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring is looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our warehouse and distribution team in Bristol.\n
\nAs one of our drivers, you'll be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries to our branch network, ensuring stock is delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. This is a Monday to Friday role with no weekend working, offering a great work-life balance.\n
Key Responsibilities\n
\n

\n
• Complete multi-drop deliveries
\n
• Safely load and unload your vehicle
\n
• Carry out delivery checks and obtain proof of delivery
\n
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects
\n
• Ensure compliance with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph legislation
\n
• Maintain a clean, safe, and roadworthy vehicle
\n
• Report any accidents or incidents in line with company procedures
\n
• Deliver excellent customer service on every journey
\n

\n What You'll Need
\n
\n

\n
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
\n
• Valid Driver CPC.
\n
• Digital Tachograph Card.
\n
• Good knowledge of UK road transport legislation.
\n
• A safe, professional driving record.
\n
• Ability to carry out manual handling and lift heavy items.
\n
• Strong communication and time management skills.
\n
• A positive, reliable attitude and team-focused approach.
\n
