\nAre you an experienced Health & Safety professional looking to play a key role in the delivery of a major renewable energy project?
\nOur client is seeking a Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) Advisor to join a large-scale solar construction project in Gowerton, Wales. This is a site-based position offering the opportunity to influence safety culture, support project delivery and contribute to the UK's transition to clean energy.
\nWhilst initially offered as an 18-month fixed-term contract with other opportunities available beyond.
\nThe Role
\nAs HSEQ Advisor, you'll work closely with project teams, contractors and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards across site operations.
\nKey responsibilities include:
\n- \n
- Conducting site inspections and audits \n
- Supporting RAMS, risk assessments and safe systems of work \n
- Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions \n
- Delivering HSEQ training and coaching across site teams \n
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives \n
- Supporting ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems \n
- Working closely with contractors and subcontractors to promote compliance \n
- Promoting and embedding a positive safety-first culture \n
About You
\nWe're looking for candidates who possess:
\n- \n
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential) \n
- Minimum 3 years' experience within a construction project environment \n
- Strong Health & Safety knowledge and practical site experience \n
- Experience carrying out audits, inspections and incident investigations \n
- Experience working with contractors and supply chains \n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills \n
- Full UK Driving Licence \n
Desireable Experience
\n- \n
- Solar, renewable energy or wider energy sector experience \n
- IOSH Membership \n
- NEBOSH Diploma \n
- Experience working within ISO-accredited management systems \n
- Environmental and quality management exposure \n
