Job Title: Project Manager Rate: £60.00 per hour Location: StevenageHybrid / Remote working: 2/3 days/week on siteDuration: 6 Months with very likely extension. IR35 status: Inside IR35 (Umbrella)World Class Defence Organisation based in Stevenage is currently looking to recruit a Project Manager - Digital subcontractors on an initial 6 – 9 month contract. Responsibilities:Defence Manufacturing company are actively looking for a Project Manager who can hit the ground running with a series of pre-planned work packages that will ultimately lead transformational projects involving the secure movement of data. The Project Manager would work with a team of Solution Architects, Analysts and Integration Engineers.Skillset/experience required:\n

• Project Management experience – ideally gained in a defence organisation
\n
• Strong risk management skills and experience
\n
• A solid grasp of Project Management fundamentals
\n
• Ability to deal with a level of ambiguity, using project findings to refine subsequent projects in the roadmap
\n
• Negotiating and influencing skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships and work collaboratively across various levels and with internal and external collaborators
\n
• Drive and motivation in leading project teams to strive for excellence
\n
• Any recent experience of working in a the defence industry would be beneficial
\n
• Any recent experience of projects involving data movement and/or information security
