Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
- Recent experience delivering SLP services to pediatric or school-aged populations
- Strong knowledge of IEP process and familiarity with educational documentation requirements
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and educational teams
- Organization and time-management skills, especially in dynamic school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students referred for speech and language concerns
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, aligned with IEP goals and student needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in individual or group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other special education professionals to support each student’s unique goals
- Maintain accurate, timely records consistent with school and state requirements
- Engage and communicate regularly with families about progress, strategies, and support
